We
provide a printed handout including full details
of the course material to each course
participant for future reference. A selection of
supportive commercial literature relevant to the
training is available for course participants to
view. We have a small quiz, case studies or a
competency based assessment on completion of the
training to provide evidence of learning. A
certificate of attendance is issued to each
course participant. The certificates will be
individually prepared and forwarded to your
organisation.
Chris and Elaine individually deliver a variety
of courses. Associate trainers are carefully
selected for their knowledge and expertise in a
specialist area. Training that incorporates a
‘care element’ is delivered by qualified nursing
staff with many years experience. Alternative
courses are delivered by specialists with
qualifications in their identified field of
expertise.
Extra costs for examinations and certification
are incurred when an accredited qualification is
issued from a recognised body.
Examples of these governing bodies include CIEH
for Food hygiene certification and ALPHA for
First aid certification.
A
small cost for course handbooks is charged for
these specialist qualifications.
Courses that incur extra charges are FHO2, FHO3,
FA02, and FA03.
We
appreciate the time restrictions experienced by
busy organisations and the difficulty in
releasing your staff for training; therefore we
can provide training in the daytime, evenings and at
weekends. Please let us know your requirements
and we will
endeavour
to provide a suitable schedule to meet your
needs.
All
presentations are delivered using power point
technology.
We
have developed individual training courses to
include graphic illustrations to support the
text. Our training is interactive and practical
supportive aids are demonstrated to link theory
with practice.
Training can take place at your premises or a
venue of your convenience. If we arrange a
location we only charge the cost of hiring the
venue and a £15.00 administration fee.
We
offer bespoke training to bring an element of
‘reality’ to the training, combining theory to
practice. We know how it can be sometimes
challenging to work in primary care. Our aim is
to provide support and guidance for course
participants in a relaxed, friendly environment.
Improving your staff’s confidence and ability
will result in enhanced delivery of quality care
to your clients. We firmly believe that all of
our trainers provide an extremely high standard
of training that nurses and care staff will
enjoy and retain. Our excellent
testimonials
and repeated business substantiate this.
We
pride ourselves on our exceptionally high
standards and valued reputation. Our excellent
testimonials support our commitment to provide
customers with a first-class service.
After many years of practicing as District
Nursing Sisters and Community Practice Teachers,
we identified an excellent opportunity to share
a wealth of knowledge and experience with
nursing and care staff, working in residential
homes and domiciliary agencies.
We
understand that individual
organisations
have diverse working practices. We
welcome the opportunity to discuss your
individual requirements and tailor the training
to meet your needs.
