§  Recognising and reporting wound infection to qualified staff

Caring for clients with complex wounds

Qualified nurses

  • Needs of client’s with complex wounds including infected wounds, cavity wounds burns and vacuum therapy

  • Wound assessment, the stages of wound healing, care planning and accurate documentation

  • Workshop to include the selection of correct wound dressings
